WTF is a Cheapie? And How Did I Become One?

In all honestly, I still don't really know.

The Cheapies have taken over my Twitter feed, and with all the love and support they spread, I don't mind at all.

I started seeing Cheapie love on my feed when Barstool employees started to 'like' and

'retweet' tweets from Cheapie members and it seemed like something I wanted to be apart of. After a week or so of me sitting on the sidelines and being jealous of the Cheapie love, I had to question what this even was. So I reached out and was told "It's Big Tasty's people, a bunch of people that say 'I love you' to each other". I was sold.

Who doesn't like to be reminded that you're loved?

The group may have not gotten the seal of approval from Dave Portnoy, but they did from Token CEO, and that's good enough for me!

February 25th, the day fellow Token CEO listener, Jack Coleman and I became Cheapies. It happened in a tweet, when Coleman asked the common question "What is a Cheapie". Figuring I'd help a friend, I responded and tagged Big Tasty. Then we both received the tweet above and have been LIVING for #CheapieFridays since. Am I a legit Cheapie? I still don't know. Big Tasty isn't following me, so I may be a total fraud.

Final thoughts on The Cheapies: Sure, for a female it might be weird having men I don't know, that don't have their faces on their page, say "I love you" to me. But once I see #cheapie in their bio, all is good. I have yet to find female Cheapies, but when I do, I have so many "I love you's" for you bitches.
