You New Here? So Am I!

Hey, how’s it going? You new here? So am I!

I’m finally mustering up the courage to begin posting my words out into the internet. It’s weird to say this is nerve racking, but it is. I’m excited to see how my writing develops, now that I’ll have potential eyeballs on it.

Let’s start off with introducing myself!

My name is Kimm, I’m 27 years old and currently live in New York. I work in marketing and absolutely hate my job :)

The reason for starting this blog is to branch out into creating my own content. I decided this year will be the time I stop sitting back and mentally critiquing everyone else that’s ballsy enough to do, and just jump in with them.

Let’s check back in a year after starting this, to see where these goals are:

• Career- Out of my current job, and working for a media company. The goal is to be at a company that holds values similar to mine. I also need a pay increase because I have a shopping addiction.

• Relationship- Being in one would be cool, but it’s not a priority for me. I feel weird not having things in life together, so changing my schedule for a man would be stressful.

• Mental Health- I’ll be starting therapy soon, so I’m excited to learn more about myself! We’ll see how that works.

• Financially- Currently working on budgeting and learning the perks of saving. Hoping to continue that through the year, with whatever gets thrown my way.

I’m not going to end this with a cheesy saying like “Let’s see where this journey takes me” or “Buckle up, and come along for the ride!”, but ya’ll, let’s all just pray I get things figured out.
